现任浙江大学建筑工程学院“百人计划”研究员，博士生导师，入选第九批浙江省“千人计划”，获得浙江省杰出青年科学基金。在交通流建模与仿真、交通运输管理、交通大数据分析等研究领域取得了一定的科研成果，出版英文专著1部，英文专著章节1篇，在Transportation Science、Transportation Research系列、IEEE Trans. ITS等期刊发表SCI期刊论文36篇，其中第一或通讯作者论文23篇。曾承担十多项课题，包括包括国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目、浙江省杰出青年科学基金项目、美国交通部研究项目、美国国家科学基金、美国联邦公路管理局研究项目、马里兰公路管理局研究项目、马里兰国家交通中心研究项目等。于2013年荣获IEEE国际智能交通学会最佳博士论文奖。现担任OpenITS研究计划联盟OpenData工作组召集人。
